The Archive at Democracy Now!, http://www.democracynow.org, is
seeking applications for spring 2008 internships. The archive is a
audiovisual archive containing approximately 50,000 media items and a
research library within a non-profit, independent news organization.
The archive's collection contains field recordings, oral histories,
recordings of news events, and related independent news material from
the mid-eighties until the present and serves internal news
production and outside archival requests through active cataloguing,

2008 Summer Archive Internship

Office of Treaty Affairs
The Office of Treaty Affairs, an office within the U.S. Department of
State's Office of the Legal Adviser, is pleased to offer a Summer
Archive Internship for graduate students. This internship is designed to
provide a summer work experience for a graduate student interested in
pursuing an archival or records management career. The intern will
participate in a large-scale arrangement project, assist with
development of finding guides, and support technical issues.
