Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Charlie Savage discusses his new book, Takeover: The Return of the Imperial Presidency and the Subversion of American Democracy, on the vast expansion of presidential powers under the Bush-Cheney administration. Join us for a tour of one of the nation's biggest labor archives, including records of the UAW and AFL-CIO, on October 13. This is a joint event with the Wayne State University SAA, and the tour will be led by Reuther Director Mike Smith.
We will meet outside of West Hall on South University street at 10:30 and plan to leave around 10:45. Please add a comment to this page if you are planning to come. We will need people to drive as well, so if are able to drive, please indicate the number of seats you have available.
