The resume panel is a great way to learn about current trends in resume writing, and resume review by employers. It's never too early to start working on a resume for Alternative Spring Break, Summer, or school-year internships (and jobs for all of us who will be looking).
If you have a resume ready that you would be willing to contribute to the review, please send it to Joanna Kroll (jckroll@umich.edu) by Monday, September 10.

Ken DiFiore, MLS, Associate Director of Library Relations, Portico organized this session to examine the issues surrounding e-journal preservation and describe Portico’s e-journal archive service. Teaching and research have become increasingly dependent upon the convenience and enhanced accessibility of electronic scholarly resources, particularly electronic journals. Along with the use of these resources comes the challenge associated with protecting them for future generations of scholars, researchers, and students.
I'd like to invite you to fill out a survey regarding the SAA Research Forum. The meeting
is held August 28 preceding the Annual Conference. Nancy McGovern and Helen Tibbo are
very interested in getting student input on what research means to you and the kinds of
topics you would like to see included in future meetings.
The survey is brief and located here:
